Omg where do i start!! I went to John Muir middle school so of course we all went there for the fries before school. We all knew what the greasy brown  bag had inside aahhh to be a teenager again and eat greasy fries everyday and not gain a single pound, I haven't gone in a quiet some time, and I don't live that far away from Freds, so of course the times I've gone give me nostalgia of when I was in middle school (well over 20years ago) and I'm glad to see that this place is still around to take my husband and son to enjoy some great food.

The food is great here, especially the carne asada fries. But their customer service is so horrible that it brings down the whole place! To top it off, they pick and choose who to charge (black people) for the thousand island dressing sauce which is .50 cent. I literally watched several hispanics ask for sauce and no charge but as soon as i asked and another girl asked, it was .50 cent "LOOK AT THE SIGN!" So rude and disrespectful. I don't care about the price but at least charge everyone!

The food here is good ,but just waiting for your food makes you nervous from the people in there  fighting and arguing, also feels like your in jail.

It's been 6 years that I've been here and to THIS DAY I have nothing bad to say. Every trip I've made from HOUSTON to LA I've felt the generous warm hospitality,  It was good to see Lalo the same guy I haven't seen in years still serving at this level of hospitality. I will always recommend my out of town buddies who frequent the city to give this place a try. Thank you again for the great meal. Til next time!
